Broadband and phone price increase?

Are Vodafone planning to increase their FTTC broadband and phone prices, perhaps from the beginning of August?

If so would the amount someone on an 18 month contract be increased during the contract, assuming that they did not choose to leave?

Yes they are increasing broadband prices from the 10th August 17... Which is NOT related to the RPI.

This is supposed to be published on their website, but I cannot find it??

Mine is going from £28 up to £32/month!!

I'm within an 18 month agreement, but it doesn't matter, they can increase it anyway.

However if you want to change provider (like me) you can do within 30 days without an Early Termination Fee.

hi,

Even I am also looking for this. One of my friend got an email for price increase from next month. Is that true?  That too half ay through an 18 month contract?

Hi

Can anyone have an idea about vodafone price increase in FTTC broadband and phone prices? One of my friend got an an email for increase of rental from £22 to £25  from next month and that too half way through 18 c month contract.  Till date I havn't receieved any email.

Any idea about this?

Hummm, I've not had this email yet. I'm about 7 months into an 18 month contract at £28/month for my "up to 80mb" connection and don't particularly want to see that increase by 15% for no real reason (other than greed). I'll await the email and make my decision.

I received an email informing me of a price increase from £28 pm to £32 pm from early August.  I rang to inform them i was terminating early on month 10 of an 18 month contract and would be migrating to another provider.

They offered me a £50 credit on my account to remain.  This covers the increase and a bit.  I took this to save the hassle of migration and will leave after the 18 months.

I don't like this increase practice.

Well here we are on the 16th July and I still haven't received an email or snail mail informing me of any price increase. If this is supposed to happen from the 1st August they have left it too late to inform me of the price increase - needs to be 30 days as fas as I'm aware.

So it would have to be an increase from September - if they want to inform me. I would accept £50 credit on my account if offered, so I'll take that route first.

I too find the whole price increase thing unacceptable. I had exactly the same problem with Talk Talk - a mid-contraact price increase. They trun around and say "But we are offering you teh chance to get out of your contract - aren't we nice people".

No, you are not. It's not the ability for me to leave the contract, it's the principle that a contract is just that, a contract. If I am offered a price for 18 months then I should get that price, for 18 months. Increase the cost to new customers, but let my contrace, which we both agreed to, run it's course and then offer me the new price when it comes to renewal.
