Broken promise

When deciding on which phone to upgrade to I was told that the Samsung S6 Edge would come with a free accessory package which includes a WiFi desk charger and case. This would arrive with 7 days of delivery of my phone. I received the new phone on 10 April. It is now 9 May and after countless contacts with customer services and countless promises of it is on it's way, I have now been informed that it was only on a first come, first served basis and I would not be getting the free gifts. I have kept a transcript of not only the conversation where the promise of the accessories with my upgrade (and no mention of first come first served), but of all the conversations I have had over this matter with Vodafone. As far as I am concerned, Vodafone has mis-sold their product and I intend to make a formal complaint to Vodafone, I am also contacting OFCOM to complain and I intend to ask my local newspaper to investigate the blatant lies and un-professionalism of Vodafone after sales service. It's not even the price of the charger now, it is the principle. The final action I will be forced to do is cancel my contract with Vodafone and take my service elsewhere.

I am absolutely disgusted with Vodafone's lack of reliability and complete disregard to its customers

Hi,

I appreciate your frustration as incentive offers do attract a person to take up a particular offer.

The departments of any business need to be 'singing from the same hymn sheet' when advising on the Terms and Conditions of any particular offer.

I wish you well with this issue and would suggest you exhaust all avenues of contact with Vodaphone ,as this is what will be asked of you by any outside governing body.

Take care. 😎
