CAN NOT ACCESS THE VODAFONE WEBSITE

To the eForum Tech Team or anyone else who can help

 

I do not understand why I can not access the vodafone website using my BT home hub but can using my vodafone prepay dongle?

I mean it can not be my computer that is at fault or the Internet connection I am receiving because if that was the case then I could not access any website at all regardless of whether I was using my BT home hub or my vodafone prepay dongle or anything else that I could use to connect to the Internet but this is just not the case as the only problem I am receiving is from www.vodafone.co.uk although like I said before I can still access this from my vodafone dongle but only the dongle and since I used to be able to access the website two or three weeks ago from my BT home Hub why I can not do it now is a real puzzel to me that I hope anyone who reads this can answer?

try talking to customer services to reset it - joke! moderator call me and explain to me, i have spent hours on the phone and the only thing that needs resetting is your CEO who should lose his job over this debacle!

same here, you will be locked out forever more, vodafone keep telling me i am the only one!

it is now December and i am still getting the same!!!!!!!

community champion, call me sort my issues out, all of these posts and more, no online access and 191 doesnt recognise my number!!!!!

@sjbenton - please stop spamming the boards - you only need to post once. Posting multiple times like you have done will not get you a response any quicker but will delay other people getting help.

 

None of the Community Champions is going to call you for 2 reasons:

  • Your eForum Account isn't linked to your Vodafone account
  • We do not have account access

 

This is a customer to customer support forum and if you need any account specific help (which you do), you need to contact Vodafone directly using one of the methods found in the contact us link at the bottom of each page.  IF you are having issues calling 191, you can also call 03333 040 191 from any UK phone.  Ignore the voiceprompts and you will get through.

I would like details for a board member of Vodafone UK so I can contact him or her and make them aware of how poor the service is at Vodafone!

There is definitely something wrong with the website although at least I can still access the website and my account from my prepay dongle from Vodafone but that is not the point as I should be able to do it also from my BT Home Hub because I was able to do before two or three weeks ago especially since not everyone has a dongle whether it be prepay or postpay as most people are like me and connect to the internet using wifi from a BT Home Hub 3 or 5 so bottom line then is Vodafone itself would need to get the finger out and do something about this because your post and a few other's proves to me that I am not alone with not being able to connect to www.vodafone.co.uk
