Call volume in calls. Vodafone Smart Ultra 6

The call volume when making or receiving a call is too low, as even with a hearing aid, I find it hard to hear the caller's voice. I've turned all volumes to maximum in Settings.

Any advice?

Hi,

Do you have a case or screen shield attached ?

Check the mic has no dust / lint in it.

Also try turning the phone off and on to soft reboot it.

If after all the troubleshooting tips if you feel somethings wrong then I'd suggest visiting your most local Vodafone Highstreet store. The phone has a 24 month warranty. It does not cover drops or water damage.

Sorry to add......

I assume using the volume key on the side of the phone makes no difference?

Thanks for your replies.

The phone is brand new: only connected to network for a few hours!

I AM deaf  - using NHS hearing aids, As I said, all the appropriate settings are set to loud in settings. Is there some sort of hands free setting/option? I have this on my landline BT phone. Alternatively are there any apps on PlayStore which can boost call volume?
Media volume for the likes of YouTudbe IS ok with volume turned high with the rocker switch. Is it necessary to use the rocker switch DURING a call to increase volume, or can the normal high setting "stick"?

You're welcome.

In my experience with phones yes you should be able to use the rocker switch while in a call to raise the volume.
