Can i register a Vodafone mobile WiFi on my Suresignal?

Hello, 

 

Has anyone got a Vodafone mobile WiFi box registered and working with Sure Signal?

I have a sure signal box with both our mobiles registered to it. Can i also register my Mobile WiFi with the suresignal as currently i only get EDGE with that at home and would like it also to get a 3G signal at home.

Hi Ipam,

 

I have to admit that this is a first for me, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

 

The SIM is what's registered with the Sure Signal and not the phone or dongle.

 

Register the number and let us know how you get on.

 

Do you have internet at home where WiFi is available? This would be a more suitable option for data usage.

In case anyone was interested, i could register my Mobile wifi Sim with the SureSignal, but the Mobile WiFi device was still unable to pick up a 3G signal, and remained on GPRS. So assume the device itself is not compatible. 

I do have WiFi at home but wanted to use this for a friend who was visting who already had my Mobile WiFi details on their device, to save having to set them up on my home router, which has a lot of security on it. I had plenty of data left on my plan so seemed worth trying to use the Vodafone devices i pay for...but the Vodafone devices are not compatible.
