Hi there
Can someone check if these SS have logged in to VF's servers?
Serial number: 40123622272 (V3)
Serial number: 21196795989 (V1)
I have moved the V1 to a different address and lights 1,2 and 4 are on but phones cannot pick up 3G signal. I have changed the postcode online in the SS settings page of the VF website.
The V3 has been deregistered and reregistered. I have the power light flashing and two solid orange lights (the two on the far right). There are lots of outgoing packets to VF servers recording in the log so hopefully it does show up on the servers and is just downloading software/synching/whatever.
You attention would be greatly appreciated.
The stats for the V3 connection are as follows:
Ping Test 31ms
traceroute to 212.183.133.177 (212.183.133.177), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
1 cluster4.vap.vodafone.co.uk (212.183.133.177) 2.849 ms 2.175 ms 1.381 ms
2 lo0.11.central11.ptw-bng01.plus.net (195.166.128.171) 30.241 ms 30.015 ms 30.128 ms
3 irb.11.ptw-cr01.plus.net (84.93.249.17) 30.271 ms 62.717 ms
irb.11.ptw-cr02.plus.net (84.93.249.18) 30.179 ms
4 ae2.ptw-cr01.plus.net (195.166.129.4) 29.827 ms 29.910 ms
ldngw1.arcor-ip.net (195.66.224.209) 34.100 ms
5 ldngw1.arcor-ip.net (195.66.224.209) 31.179 ms 35.172 ms
cluster4.vap.vodafone.co.uk (212.183.133.177) 2.501 ms
Thanks

Hi DeanUK.
The version three Sure Signal appears to be connected and working, so I believe at the time of posting it was updating the profile.
The version one has connected but I can see that it is running an old software, this would also explain your experience.
I have requested the software update, please don't power off or reset the Sure Signal for 24 hours. Once this time has passed, reset the Sure Signal to complete the process.
The Sure Signal will be back online in around 1 hour.

Hi DaveCD
Thanks for checking them for me.
I appreciate you requesting a firmware update for the V1 - I shall restart it after the 24 hours are up and check again as you advise.
The V3 is working well as I commented on the other thread - my reason for commenting was that people seemed to be getting all worked up over PPPoE and Draytek thing so thought my experience here might help both them and you at VF with future problems.
Thanks for your time.

Hi DaveCD
Thanks for the Kudos!
Can you plese check if the firmware has updated on the V1 please?
Am having trouble getting an iPhone 4S to camp onto the V1 despite there being lights 1,2 and 4 on after resetting as you advised. I have tried to delete the number from the users but the Manage My Sure Signal page says there is a technial problem and wont allow me to delete the user. What I have done is edited the user but not changed anything and resaved hoping it might push things through.
Thanks again for your help!

Hi Ian C
Thanks for checking that the correct firmware is running. Glad to know that it worked.
The postcode was correct on the V1 - it should begin with GL10
I note that you changed it back to GL6 - only the V3 should be GL6
I have changed the postcode of the V1 back to a GL10 post code - can you please check that they are both correct on your system?
Many thanks
