Cannot add ported number

Hi,

 

I am trying to add my wifes number (ported from EE) to my suresignal for the past 48hrs but the inline page is reporting an error when trying to add. Could you please help ?

I'd suggest calling 191... they can add the number for you, but it may be that there's an issue with the number. I'm having a similar issue.

Hi

 

How long has it been since the number was ported over ?

 

It could still be updating on Vodafone Systems. 

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512gb.

The first thing to try is clearing your cache and cookies on your PC and try adding the number again.

 

If the issue persist, please use live chat and they will be able to help add the new number.

Live chat said they added the number, but still doesnt appear in the portal and also does not connect to the suresignal. 

 

So I don't think the person on the other end of live chat actually did anything.

You can add your wifes number to your Sure Signal yourself by following these instructions:

 

  1. Log into My Vodafone
  2. Select your number and click on Manage services. Then click on Sure Signal followed by Manage users. Choose what you want to do and follow the instructions.

 

 

Ok, so it's been almost a month and i've been trying almost everyday using the web portal you have pointed me to but it still reports a "technical issue, try again later"error when tryig to add the number.

 

I've also been on the line with Vodafone tech support abour 6/7 times each time being passes between departments with someone telling me they'll look into it.

 

Still not resolved and the way it stands my wife is unable to make/recieve calls whilst at home, which is unacceptable.
