I recently purchased a second hand VSS v2 that was registered by it's then owner. Obviously I cannot use it until the registration details have been changed so could someone please assist me in doing that?

Many thanks

Hello dobbies

Due to the usual data protection, unless the request came from the person who had the device registered to their account, Vodafone would be unable to deregister the Sure Signal.

Your only option would be to contact the previous owner and ask that person to contact Vodafone.  Providing the person you purchased the device from had the Sure Signal registered to their account, Vodafone will be able to get the device deregistered.

If you do a search of the forum, there are some previous threads which will help.

How do I de-register my Sure Signal?

Many thanks for your help. I did contact the previous owner for de-registration and it's now registered in my name and working OK.

Great forum

Thanks
