My sure signal v2 had been working fine until a few months ago when it suddenly stopped working. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps and added all the ports to be forwarded as the troubleshooting guide states.
When I plug it in initially the two lights start flashing for about 15 minutes then they just stop. I have tried multiple factory resets, reboots, router reboots but still no luck.
I tried a tracert however it times out immediately. But I can confirm that my broadband is working fine (by browsing sites etc).
I am using a virgin media superhub with highspeed broadband. I'm happy to supply any more details as required.

Hi WWLK,
As the traceroute doesn’t work it would suggest that the problem is with the security settings.
We have been made aware that Virgin has recently changed their security settings within the router which has caused the Sure Signal to stop working.
Please can you log into the router admin panel and lower the firewall security settings from high to either low or medium to see if this resolves the issue.

Hi James,
The traceroute log I posted before was attempted when the firewall protection was on medium. Here is the log for firewall on low.

Also did a new pingtest too.

FYI, I tried turning off the firewall completely yesterday however the same thing happened, both lights flashed for about 15 minutes then just the signal light flashing then just the power light. Also same result on low setting.

Hmm okay it was the router firewall settings and it now works on low. I guess I wasn't patient enough last time. Thanks for your help James.
