Cannot receive calls after porting number from O2 today

Can tech team please help as failed miserably to get reliable help following 2 phone calls to Vodaphone today plus attempt at live chat. 02 have disabled old sim today but new handset is not receiving calls on the number that is supposed to have transferred. The temp number visa gave me is also now not working
Desp need a phone to work - pls help
