Cannot receive texts

I have recently upgraded to an iPhone 6 and changed network provider from EE to Vodafone. For some reason i can only send SMS to numbers who have text me previously, any new numbers do not work. I have no issues with phone calls nor do i have any with iMessage.

Any ideas?!

Hi @dpage31             

Can you please check the following?

• Make sure your contacts in your contact list are not duplicated.
• Make sure the formatting is correct, eg, 07777777777 or +447777777777
• What happens when you switch off iMessage?
• Do you have multiple numbers connected to the same iTunes account?
