Change of SIM size for new Blackberry Classic

Hello,

Very soon (December 17th ??) Blackberry are launching a new model 'The Classic'.  I am thinking of buying one but it utilises a nano sim.  My current phone (BB Z10) uses a micro sim.  Will Voda issue me with a nano sim with my current number.  I am on Pay Monthly 4G with Voda?  If so would there be a charge?

Hi. You can get one free of charge.

The best way , I find, is to go to a store when you receive the phone and the store can supply you with one and switch it over for you.

If you can't get to a store, you can request one from 191 or livechat then once received and you have your new device, contact them again to arrange the sim swap.

Thanks for the rapid response!!  Just to be crystal clear, I doubt if Voda will be selling these devices so I plan to buy one outright myself.  (Unlocked of course).  Would that make a difference that i wasn't 'renting' it from Voda?

No, not as long as your "sim" contract is with Vodafone.

New user here, 1st post. I've got a Blackberry 7 phone with a standard SIM on PAYG & want to do the same as the OP - get an unlocked Classic. Does anyone know if Vodafone would supply me with a free nano SIM to replace my current one so I can stay PAYG?
