Cnmbook(7"linux) And Vodafone K3565

gdf
Not applicable
I have just brought a CnMBook ( 7"Linux) and am unable to get it to work with my Vodafone Top up and go mobile broardband K3565.

I have entered all the settings as required by the CnM website.

I emailed them stating that the K3565 was working fine with my laptop and their reply was

"The minibook is a low powered device. So the signal for 3g will be half that of your laptop.Try this in a different area or location within youre home. You will find that it will connect at a higher level.
I have tried at various locations round the town but still no success. According to the vodafone site we have good strong coverage here.

Does the CnM reply sound reasonable or does anyone have any other ideas.

I personnally feel thet the settings might be wrong but they are exactly as per CnM website.

Thanks for any help.

George

Hi Jon

David suggested using "pp.internet" for access point the CnM webpage says "internet". Can you please confirm which is the correct one I should be using. I am using top up and go with a Vodafone K3565.

Thanks George

Hey George,

You'll need to set it to pp.internet for our Top Up & Go range :)

If you have any other questions, let us know!

Talking about online, I recommend checking out our My Account services - we have a range of features designed to save you time and money if you need to call 191 :)
