That shouldn't be happening. If you can use mobile data, the settings are already there and working and you can ignore the messages, though they're annoying. It's happened to me a couple of times but, if this is regular, it needs to be fixed. In the first instance, try a new SIM - Customer Service can send you one or you can pick one up in a Vodafone shop and they can activate it for you. If that doesn't fix the problem, post back here and the forum team will be able to have a look at your account to see if it's anything their end.
