Middle of last night my Connect router seems to have updated to firmware 5.4.8.1.291.1.30.1.6. I'm wary, as the last update caused a problem restoring the config file.
Does anybody know if there is a changelog anywhere detailing what has been altered in this latest firmware?
Thanks

I'd be surprised if Vodafone would give out that information though if they will it'll be the broadband team that gives you it, try Live Chat or give them a call.
Interested to see how you get on.

DNLA for the first time now actually works:smileyhappy:
For the first time and a huge amount of wasted time later my Plex server can stream to my TV, tablet etc.
Of course Vodafone never told me they have fixed this even though I have an open complaint with them.
Useless company.

Well I tried for an hour to get the changelog. I got precisely nowhere.
"Sorry, I am not able to provide this information, it is company policy".
We the customers can ring 10 times with the same issue, nothing is done, responsibility is denied, company policy, blah blah, the customer get nowhere. Just occasionally you hit the right person who knows what they're doing. And the issue is fixed on the spot.
Maybe company policy is to see how far they can "wind up" the customers, in that case VF accelerating to the top of the pile.

@Enceladus As advised by @Nabs, please do speak with our dedicated Broadband team on Live Chat for further information on this.

@Natasha
I did Live Chat with the "dedicated Broadband team". At least she claimed to belong to that dept.
If it's that easy then please post up the link to changelog(s). It seems that I'm not the only customer with unresolved issues who is interested in what changes are implemented in the latest firmware that has been pushed out. What's secret about it?

I'm afraid we don't have this information to provide via the Vodafone Community.
If you've been unable to get the answer to your query from our Live Chat team, please give the Broadband team a call on 08080 044 848.

I have a memory leak issue at this new firmware.
The router memnory grows and eventually the router reboots, this generally takes palce every 3 or 4 hours.
Has been happening since I got the new firmware last Wednesday.
I will be ringing the BB help team soon to raise the issue.

Thanks Amanda.
I have an active fault ticket open with them and I've had some contact from tech Support.
