Are the two machines already networked together? If they are then it is going to be a lot easier than if they aren't!! Of course, the simplest thing is just to use one of them at a time, and move the dongle between then, but I appreciate that is probably not what you want to do.

I haven't tried it myself, but I think you just need to setup Internet Connection sharing between the two machines. Here are a couple of links to get you going:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306126
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/n...d_02july01.mspx

There are various other methods of doing it, but this is probably the first one to try!!

If the above is not possible you could use a 3G wireless router and place the router wherever the signal is strongest in the house.

Hi Juliebride, and welcome B-)

Unfortunately this isn't something we could 'officially' advise on, but the guys seem to have covered the best possible route to achieving what you're wanting to do (thanks CJM & Paul ;)).

Remember if you're struggling with any aspect of using our Mobile Broadband, you can always ask away here or have a look at our online services - we offer so many ways to manage your account and get help online so there's less and less of a need to call 191. You know what’s really handy? Online Billing! Great for anyone like me who sighs at the thought of paperwork, you can even print out the bills you need copies of straight from the web – how good is that? This will save you time and money :)

Let us know if we can help further,

Why do VF offer routers for buisness customers but not for normal account holders? T-mobile do and i think it would be good if VF did as well. Is this something that may happen soon?

Hi cjm1979,

We always welcome feedback and any ideas that our customers have whether it be relating to the network or devices and hardware that we offer. In all honesty I am unable to give you a definitive answer on why we only offer the routers for VF Business and not our normal account holders.

I have sent this query down to our Voice Of The Customer which solely deal with suggestions such as yours.

If anything does come to light I am sure we will publicise this is the normal manner.

Many thanks once again for your suggestion, :D
