I don't think this question is S4-specific but I'll ask it here anyway :smileyhappy:
I've recently had my S4 replaced due to a fault which couldn't be repaired, and I'm now trying to get my Contacts back to the way they were on the replaced phone. The situation on my original phone was this :-
- All Contacts stored on the device itself
- Backup copy on Google
- Secondary backup copy on the SIM itself in case of having to use a different handset.
What I have now however is this :-
- All contacts displayed from Google
- None on the device itself
- Secondary backup still on the SIM
OK, so what I would like to know is whether there is any means of copying my contacts from Google to the device. I'm not sure it actually makes any practical difference if I do this- the Google version is still visible even when wi-fi and data are disabled - but nevertheless I would like to know if it is possible, and if so how. I'm not totally convinced that the SIM copy is up to date so I don't want to copy from SIM to device, I'd rather copy from Google.
Any suggestions folks ??

OK guys, no worries ! I dug an old SD card out of one of my previous phones and installed that in the S4, then exported from Google to SD and back from SD to Device - problem solved !! As a bonus I now have lots of music to use as ringtones without going to the bother of uploading it via Kies again.
