My signal does seem a bit improved lately and even going bt the worst map it is different to before. How accurate are they? I gathered it must be worked out on a simulation or something. Its just i can 3-5 bars 3.5G at the back of my house but the worst map shows me in a dead spot.

They are accurate, but they don't give a great deal of detail. It's just a simple "Yes or No" map of coverage, but doesn't take into account the level of variable signal which we can see on our internal tools, such as telling us that coverage is classed as outdoor or indoor or patchy, etc. This is still based on simulated coverage, but environmental and congestion factors can greatly extend or shrink a projected coverage area. It really isn't an exact science![]()
