For some reason I am still on the old billing system on Vodafoone named 'Crystal'. Although this was an inconvenience as I wasnt able to access all the features of Vodafone online etc ec I was still able to get most things done.
I tried to add the International Saver 100 onto my account which is avaialbel to all Pay Monthly tariffs. I was however told that this was not possible to add as I was on the Crystal billing system. I have been trying to get someone to move me to the new billing system so that I can take advanatge of this Add On but I keep getting passed from department to department. Surely it should be simple enough for customers to be noved to new billing system.
Also seems unfair that old customers are not able to take advantage of new Add-Ons simply because they havent been moved to the new billing system through no fault of theirs.
There seems to be no value on loyalty?

Can totally understand it must be frustrating to not be able to receive services you want to use.
On my basic understanding of it, it's not a straightforward move from one to the other as it involves a new account set up on a different system. I think this is one where the Tech Team will have to pick up your query. 🙂

Hopefully the Tech Team can resolve. Seems unfair that some unfortunate customers have been left on the legacy system and will not be able to take advantage of new Add ons. Surely Vodafone should have made sure that AddOns are available on both their billing platforms until such time that all customers have been migrated.
Hos can this be escalated to the Tech Team?

The Tech Team review the messages on this board so will be able to pick this up with you when they can. Apparently they are a small team so you may have to be patient whilst they reach your message. 🙂

Vodafone has been working on migrating peoples account over to the new billing system for a good few years now!
From what I've heard the majority of people are now across but I guess there are still some, like yourself, to be moved.
I'm not sure that there is a process in place to move you from one system to another on request, however, there may be a team handling the transfers that the eForum guys could get your case raised with.
Just out of interest @qahmed I assume you are a consumer customer, i.e. not on a business tariff?

Thanks. I am on a consumer tariff.

Just a thought whilst you are waiting for the Tech team to reply - have you tried adding the service on by text, as per the link below? If you are a consumer customer then there might be a chance that it latches onto your account. Either way, if you tried and failed then it would be something further to discuss with the Tech Team by way of not being able to add a normal consumer add on.

I have tried it by sending a text to 40506: ADD INTL100
I get the message:
From Vodafone: EuroTraveller is not available ion your bundle but the good news in that your Red value bundle already includes free calls and taxts in your inclusive roaming zone. You also have an inclusive data roaming allowance to use.

That response is correct as All Red Tariffs signed up to after May16, Euro Roaming is included. Allowance of data differs and depends on the Tariff.
If you check again, you will already have Euro Roaming included in your Tariff for free.

Its the International Saver that they are trying to add though, rather than anything to do with Euro roaming, so the text only seems to be picking up ADD (for Eurotraveller) rather than the whole request of ADD INTL100. 😞
