To Forum,
Purchased a Mobile Broadband dongle on a 30 day plan with 2GBs a month for £15. i have used it for a few days and am up to 1950MB on my usage indicator with the VNC software.
the usage software says my maximum is 5120MBs. is this an indicator on my plan amount of does my 2GB/2000MB limit still stand? if the 2GB limit does still stand, why is the indictor of my use listing this 5120MB amounts?

The software is a guide, and you can set the limit to be whatever you want, or turn it off.
There are various 5GB plans out there, so it may default to that (as it will not know what your plan is)
If you are on a 2GB plan, I would change the counter to 1500, so it gives a good warning on your approaching your limit.
If you have only been using it a few days, what have your burnt 2GB on, as that is a lot of throughput if just general browsing and surfing.

Hi,
A follow on question to the initial posters question. How do I reset the data volume so I can see when I am getting close to my monthly roaming data allowance?
Essentailly I'd like to be able to reset the "Total volume 345.14MB" line in the default web page that enters my pin on wifi connection to the device, ideally a setting to automatically reset this to zero at the start of each month.
Thanks in advance
