So the release date is the 11th of March but if you pre-order Samsung says you can benefit by having it 3 days early. Will vodafone honour that? I've pre-ordered mine but the sales guys have no idea when the phones will start to get dispatched.

Well the replacement didn't come

But miffed as I called and told they can't process replacements till tomorrow now - seems odd but ok

I will call tomorrow and find out what is going on but as I'm back in my old phone now now with my new phone at home in its box going unused it's dissapointing.

Depending what they say tomorrow to sort me out I may consider just using my cooling off period and going elsewhere.

After a week of complete incompetence by vodafone my pre-order raised 22nd Feb has now been cancelled due to them messing it up and not having the nuts to tell me earlier.

 

Vodafone not a company to depend on!!!

How did you find out it was cancelled?  I also ordered on Feb 22nd and have still not heard a single thing about delivery.

Is this some sort of joke. I tried live chat earlier and they told me to call 191. You lot really need to get your stuff together, it's embarrassing!

@rahim I think the point is no-one really knows.

Phones are not being delivered as per the T&C's and the people working on Live chat are stuck with ambiguous info.

Absolutely right, no one in Vodafone knows what's happening with pre-orders. Still not had my phone which was supposed to be ready for collection on 8/3/16 also as per the T&C's (point 4).

I've been told various different stories by the store and the live chat on several occasions now. Starting to regret going with Vodafone, the store and the manager their don't seem bothered about losing customers, when I expressed my annoyance with the lack of communication and service I was advised "you are able to cancel your contract". Never heard of such service before, this attitude is also expressed by the other Vodafone stores as well. What a shambles that is Vodafone.

I've now been told my order has been "prioritised" and I should get an email on the 16th or 17th March telling me when the phone is ready to pick up.
