Deregister Sure Signal

Hi, I have recently moved my business to another network and as such I want to deactivate my Sure Signal, as my new network is able to give me coverage at home without a box!

 

I can't log in anymore to do this as my account is no longer active.

 

I want to sell the box on ebay but need it off their system before I can do this.

As per other posters, I have a suresignal box I'd like to transfer to my sister who is on Vodafone.. Like others I can not access account details... Can someone let me know how to achieve this...

Hi, I had my number moved over to Three today, and logged into My Vodafone tonight to deregister the SureSignal but it doesn't look like I have access to anything in My Account now to do this. Does this mean that the device has been automatically deregistered as I'd like to get it to someone else who needs it, but I think it's no use until it's deregistered? Thanks in advance

Hi there

 

You are right - a SureSignal device can't be used by someone else until it has been deregistered. It doesn't get automaticallly deregistered I'm afraid, you would have needed to do this through your online account before your number moved over to your new provider.

 

As you didn't do that, one of the eForum Team will need to assist you and will be along to drop you a Private Message just as soon as they can. Please be patient as they can take a little while to respond as they deal with all posts in time order.

I also have a SureSignal V1 that I'm pretty certain I didn't unregister before moving to a different provider. It's been sat in it's box on a shelf for around 18 months maybe longer as I had no need for it.  Could the Vodafone team check the status and deregister the device for me, so I can pass it own to a friend that has just purchased himself a shiny new Vodafone handset, but has a very poor signal at this home.

Hi,

 

I've recently left Vodafone but was using my SureSignal right up to the point where my number was transfered to my new provider and my account was shut down.

 

Since I can no longer access my old Vodafone account, I am unable to deregister it.

You have a number of options available:

 

  • Pop into your local Vodafone shop who'll be able to de-register the VSS
  • You can do it by speaking with our Live Chat service
  • Calling 191 from a Vodafone phone 08700 700191 from another phone
