Hi all.
So I've been a happy user of a mobile broadband (data-only) SIM. Using the coverage checker for my postcode I should be getting 4G indoor/outdoor. The MiFi device reports the connection as DC-HSPA+ with a low signal stength, but does give me 10Mb/s+ download speeds (as reported by fast.com). Ping times would be around 70ms.
However, over the last few weeks the connection has been unusable. Speeds are as low as 1.5Mb/s and the connection will drop every 10 seconds or so. I can't even browse the web
I changed MiFi devices (to a 4G dongle, then a 4G enabled Android phone) - all suffer from the same problem, so I know it's not my hardware.
Would changing the SIM help?
If the service doesn't improve - do I have a chance to cancel my contract (I'm still within the 12months), as I'm not recieving the service I'm paying for.
ps. It's a 50GB SIM contract, and I'm nowhere near the limit of 50GB.
Thanks for any help
James
