Hi @ushishash
If you wish to leave Vodafone i.e. Close down your Vodafone Contract but take your mobile number to another Network then you'll need to ring customer service on 191 or use Live Chat and ask for a PAC code. Use that code within 30 days by giving it to your new network. If you don't it'll time out and you'll then need to ask for another code.
When your new network uses the PAC code then your Vodafone Account will automatically be shut down.
Vodafone will then send you your final bill in approx 2 weeks.
The link below advises what this can include in the way of charges and any relevant EarlyTermination Fee's etc.
Link > When-will-I-receive-my-final-bill.
Please consider not cancelling the Direct Debit until Vodafone have taken any final payment(s) and if applicable applied any Refunds.
And you have received the final bill by post, paid by Direct Debit and a £0 bill and Sorry Your Leaving Letter has been received that confirms the account is closed. (Please retain this paperwork)
Unlocking your Phone via the Online Form you've used just lets you then use any Network SIM card in the phone. It has nothing to do with your Vodafone Contract.
Current Phone >
Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

Hey,
No, it sounds like all you've done is ask Vodafone to unlock your handset so it'll work with other SIMs rather than ask them to close your account.
If you're wanting to leave then call up customer care and ask them to either close your account (they'll look for 30 days notice) or get a PAC code if you're wanting to take your number with you to another provider.
