Hi
I recently ported my number from O2 to Vodaone on a sim only plan, but the number wasn't fully ported over.
Any O2 phone numbers can not ring my phone, I have spoken to customer service and they said they are waiting for O2 to sort something out. It has been almost 3 weeks now and nothing has been fixed.
Has anybody else has the same issue and how long did it take to fix this issue.

Hi had the same problem was with talk mobile was given 03433 050 400 it wasn't the right department however they did transfer to the porting team. That was on Tuesday 24th June was told it would take 24 hours by Wednesday it still had issues receiving call and text. Phone the same number and was transferred again the guy sorted out the issue within 1 hour. I wouldn't waste your time phoning the 191 number they don't have a clue and they just pass you to some one else with the same lack ok knowledge. I have also had other issues with Vodafone this week I would never recommend this company to anybody.
I hope this helps good luck you are going to need it.

I had the same thing porting in from BT Mobile. Anyone calling from BT or EE got connected to my old sim, anyone else to Vodafone.
The problem in the end turned out to be that Vodafone hadn't realised they originally owned the number (all numbers have an original owner, even if they have been ported lots of times since) so therefore it was them who needed to supply some file to allow the port to close.
Who is the original owner of your number? O2 or had you ported into them previously? Either way, speak to the porting team and get them to escalate this. My problems were getting to speak to the right team, once I did. They were able to resolve.
