Dongle help

Not sure if I have posted this in the right place or not so sorry if it's wrong.

I bought a Vodafone dongle that came pre loaded with 1gb. Now after following all the instal instructions every time I try to go online it refers me to the top-up page! So I thought maybe I need to top it up first so I put £20 on it(which says 3 gb for 30 days) but still I can't get online every page I try go on it refers me back to the topup page!

Any help would be greatly appreciated
