Hi - my mother-in-law has bought a Doro phone (android) from Tesco, on the vodafone network. For some reason messages between her and my wife (iphone 6 - also vodafone) seem to have various issues. These include:
My wife doesn't have any issues with other contacts, and the mother-in-law doesn't appear to have problems with any other contact either.
We're thinking this is on the doro side - but it's not clear what it could be.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi
A sim swap can sometimes help just incase the sim is failing. Any shop can perform this.
When the message is sent from the iPhone is it in a blue bubble or green one. Blue means it's trying to send it as an iMessage and green is a normal text.
Has the person on the other make of phone used an iPhone with their current SIM card at all ?
Tesco uses the o2 network as a MVNO network.
It maybe worth checking in with their customer services.
Process of elimination: Can you try you're Sim card in another phone to rule out either the Sim or Account or Phone which may be at fault.

Hi there
I'd say, based on the info you've provided, that the issue lies with the Doro handset. The way the messages are being broken up sounds like it isn't correctly reading the header information in the SMS and reassembling the individual messages into one longer message.
To rule out issues with the SIM, please could you try it out in another handset. If it works without issues, you know it is the handset causing problems.
