Vodafone don't have an active email address that you can contact for cancellations, that may be why you haven't received a response, sorry. It would be best to contact them direct on 191 or live chat to give your notice of intention to cancel. Just stopping your direct debit will mean your account will fall into default and you may end up with serious issues on your credit history report. It also wont do anything to cancel the account so it is best to speak to them direct to avoid any future credit issues. Its recommended that you keep your direct debit running until you receive your final bill from them and can confirm that this has been cleared. 🙂

Hi @chrispbug
Info in this link > Vodafone /cancel-account/
"The Early Termination Fee is the total amount of line rental outstanding for the remainder of the contract, without VAT, and less a 2% rebate. This figure will be calculated on the price prior to any discounts.
You can confirm the exact figure by calling 191."
Please consider not cancelling the Direct Debit until Vodafone have taken any final payment(s) and if applicable applied any Refunds. And you have received the final bill by post, paid by Direct Debit and a £0 bill and Sorry Your Leaving Letter has been received that confirms the account is closed. (Please retain this paperwork)
Either give...
30 days notice by 191 or Live Chat.
Or request a PAC Code if you want to take your number to another network. Use it within 30 days by giving it to a new network.
Or request the contract is changed to Payg which takes 30 days.
Please take into consideration that not every Network provides the same signal strengths and Data Speeds everywhere, and in the same area. I assume to this point Vodafone have overall supplied a useable Service. Moving Networks may affect this.
