Hi,

The sector is a pretty fast moving one.

Phones are being released all the time so the Networks will want to benefit from launches such as the Samsung Galaxy s8 and s8+so they'll look at Tariffs / plans to attach to them to tempt people to either sign up or upgrade again to stay with them.

My advice would be to make a shortlist of phones your interested in and go to the Highstreet Store to play with the demo models to whittle the list down.

Then if the 1/5/17 is your early upgrade date then choose your tariff and phone or if it was me I'd call 191 ,choose thinking of leaving and that should get you through to Vodafones Retention Department who maybe able to offer a deal.

The closer to your Contract End date which is past the early upgrade date the possibility of a better deal maybe available.
