Still showing outstanding £1799 on credit file even though I paid for it all

I have paid the outstanding amount a year ago but it’s still showing on my credit file as outstanding and it’s really frustrating I want to make a formal complaint as I have been chasing you guys for months just to sort this out and nobody has got back to me I’m on my final stages and I don’t know how longer I can wait for this to be resolved any answer would be much appreciated .
