Hi All,
The screen on my S3 stopped working. Before taking in for repair, I managed to back it up via Kies. My pnhone was repaired by Vodafone and is now in full working order. Problem is that I can't restore it. I get a message when trying to do so in Kies saying that there are no suitable files listed (.sbu). I can see folders on my PC relating to the back up, but cannot find any .sbu files within.
Has anyone else had such an experience?
Thanks,
Tim.

Oh dear. Kies is a pretty flaky piece of software. Personally, I'd always back up by using a pc file manager to physically copy files rather than relying on a proprietary format.
There may be someone here who can offer some advice, but this has cropped up before and I don't think I've seen a solution.
It's just possible that you need to update Kies to access the latest version of the phone OS. Don't try that until someone else has weighed in in case it just makes things worse, but it might be worth trying as a last-ditch appempt.

With Coolmuster Samsung Data Recovery. You can retrieve Samsung data from different data loss circumstances like factory reset, accidental deletion, virus attack, ROM flash, system update etc.
