Galaxy S6 Edge over sensitive screen

Is anyone else having problems with the screen on the Galaxy S6 edge being way too sensitive.

This is most noticable any time I try to select an on-screen button element which also scrolls. The element always scrolls rather than recognising the press.

It's really really annoying as I have to try sometimes 10 times each time I want to press the button. It affects several apps so does seem specific to the S6 hardware/software.

Hi,

If you have not already done so I would suggest a Soft Reset by turning the phone Off and On.

Hi.

Tried a soft reset, even tried a factory reset. No improvement.

Hi,

If a Google Search does not return any further help or settings tweaks then perhaps speak to Samsung via the UK Support Site.

Samsung UK Support.

A few other online threads reported the same issue. A replacement handset seems to solved the problem.

Out of interest why contact Samsung support rather than Vodafone who I purchased the handset from? If it is a fault surely Vodafone would replace rather than Samsung themselves?

Hi,

Through experience and knowledge the Manufacturer knows their hardware and software better than the 3rd party repair houses the networks use.

If you've had the handset more than 14 days the Network won't typically replace the phone but rather send it off for a diagnostic and firmware re flash.
