Anyone know what is going on with this? Been on webchat 3 times this week and been given 3 different answers! One of them said it would be on pre order this week which doesnt look likely, one said no pre order but going on sale 10th and the other said the same but the 17th. They dont have a clue! Only Vodafone and O2 who dont have it available for presale.

For me, the most annoying thing is that my local Vodafone store has three Note 4's in. 2 White, one black, but they can't (won't) honour the offer I got via Vodafone central.

 

I too was convinced to stay as I was going to head to 3. I might just give 3 a call and see what they can offer....

Oh and like Sprinty, I would appreciate honesty. Surely a company such as Vodafone has enough control of its stock levels to know when the next shipment will arrive? If not, I certainly wouldn't invest in them!

When I spoke to them today on the telephone the guy on the other end actually said he had no idea when the next consignment was due...

So even their staff have no idea about stock, others have said to me they know as much as I would regarding stock levels/when they are due to be refilled.

You'd think a company as big as Vodafone would be able to keep track of whats what by now.

And at least have the decency to inform their customers of a approx date that we would receive our handsets.

I think that if the phones come in stock by Friday they should all upgrade us for Saturday delivery for free for the hassle they've caused.

It's nice to see that others are just as impatient as me to get their hands on this device! Perhaps I'm normal after all?

I placed my order for an upgrade through cancellations last Thursday (yeah, they got me!). However I was told that it would be 1-2 weeks for delivery, so I will start chasing next week. However looking through this forum it seems we've been told different things. Maybe there will be some stock tomorrow? :Winking_smiley:

That annoys me more. If people who were ordering before me were told 1-2 weeks and I was told 2-4 days, then they are either intentionally misleading or they have a system that is completely broken.

I phoned last Thursday to be told yes in stock delivery would be Monday,well nothing arrived so called again and was told it would be delivered on Tuesday,well agin nothing arrived a.m so phoned after lunch to be told it was defo out for delivery on Tuesday.well Tuesday evening phoned again and was told the order was not prosessed so it was not sent out so yes through the whole rigmarole again 32gb black note 4 defo in stock out for delivery on Wednesday.

Yes you guessed it nothing arrived today so after 5 calls finally get told that they are out of stock and could be 1-2 weeks,well to say I was angry is an understatement,asked the chap to let me speak to a manager or someone in authority but was told it would be a call back which takes 24-48 hours,well take it from me that if nobody has phoned or got in contact with me soon the vodafone will be 3 customers less but the way I have been treated by them I don't think they would care.
Very very poor service.

So, I decided to speak to Vodafone today and they had this to say:

You: i was wondering if you could help me, im looking to buy the samsung galaxy note 4 but ive heard rumours its not in stock
Amanda: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was in back order before when it was launched due to huge demand
Amanda: However right now it is available in stock
You: ok did that come in recently
You: its just i read on the vodafone forums its all out of stock when people order
You: and people were saying that it was out of stock yesterday
You: so id rather not buy unless it is in
Amanda: It is in stock and available to order and generally the delivery takes place on the very next day after placing an order online. The estimated timeframe of delivery is 2 - 4 working days.
You: ok is there anyway you can check to see if their is real stock as id like to purchase today if it is in
You: and im away on holiday next week so it really would need to arrive within that time frame
Amanda: It is in stock online to order, please be assured for it and I've checked it already for you

 

 

 

I shall telephone them shortly for another update to see if it actually is in stock

I had a very similar conversation with 'Amanda' last evening Fiona.  Unfortunately it seems that her proof of the Note 4 availability seemed to consist of directing me to the Vodafone website, where it is not yet listed as 'out of stock'.  I wouldn't take much notice as unfortunately I seemed to be the one informing her about the practice of back ordering, despite her assuring me that she had just checked with her manager and it was definitely in stock.

 

Im beginning to think that with Vodafone it is only the buying department who have access to accurate information about delivery schedules and amounts.  Nevertheless if what you say about the contact centre recieving stock updates on a Thursday is true, maybe its worth a call today.

Got off the phone to one of them who said that they have 12 white in stock just now and that was updated today and she will phone me back with a update within half an hour, not so hopeful but can only wait and see.

Whether or not that means there is 12 in stock after all the back orders they have had or they only received 12 who knows.

Anyway the wait goes on

I'm keeping an eye on this forum now for updates; it seems like the most consistent place for Vodafone stock information! If you recieve your phone please let us know!
