Hi
As per the webpage which seems to suggest its easy, all I want to do is turn on global roaming on my existing contract without extending the contract end date.
I have made countless calls and have still not managed to do this.
Does anybody know or have any experience here ?
Thanks
John

Hi @jmacp
You would probably have received a text message about the Global Roaming.
Changes to roaming with Pay monthly
This is only a price update from the 11th June. Everything else remains the same.

@jmacp customer services on 191 should be able to arrange this for you. If you're not getting anywhere with them sit tight and one of the eForum team should be able to get in touch and take a look at it.
Alternatively, if you don't need it urgently it should be automatically added to your contract on the 11th of June as @AnnS mentioned.

Not getting anywhere with 191 or online chat at all. So will sit tight.

@jmacp - All existing customers will automatically benefit from Roam-free from 11 June 2017.
You can find more information in the Vodafone Global Roaming Ts&Cs.

All our new Pay monthly plans include Vodafone Global Roaming.
You can change your current price plan on your My Vodafone app or online account.
Please note, you can only increase your current price plan.

You are supposed to be able (according to your website) to add global roaming to an existing contract without altering your contract end date.
I have found this impossible to do with either 191 or Live chat.
I cannot do it online either.
Please advise.

I can't find the wording now, but I read it as you can change your plan to one including global roaming and it wouldn't change your contract end date (I assume there are T&Cs saying something like only to a higher price plan)

You can change to a plan with the same price or a higher price. You can't reduce your monthly payments.
This has always been the case. This isn't new.
