I have been a loyal customer to Vodafone, and I have found them very helpful, but the point you make here is not what is being told to all customers.
It isn't my point. All I'm doing is repeating what has been said on this forum and told to the technical press by Vodafone. Why CS personnel are telling customers something differernt is a big mystery. I can tell you that all posts on this forum are moderated and I believe that the team here, who are giving you the corporate line, will be feeding back to their CS colleagues that they are providing the wrong information on live chat and 191.

has anyone read this?
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/htc-10-pre-order-uk-carrier-networks-retailers-their-price-deals-1556029
First paragraph reads:
"HTC 10 on pre-order via network operators:
EE, Vodafone, O2 and Carphone Warehouse owned iD are some of the carrier networks that will be selling HTC's flagship smartphone once it becomes available in the UK." - I wonder if they mean the handset will be available directly via VF sales teams, and if so where did this information come from (I have emailed them to clarify). The second paragraph is about retailers only and includes CPW. To me it reads like the network providers in the first paragrap will offer the phone direclty through their sales channels 😮
What makes me think I'm right is this bit "A deal through EE for your HTC 10 costs only £42.49 ($61) per month, without upfront payment.". I have checked CPW and the EE plan priced at £42.49 comes with a £29.99 upfront handset cost. Also the whole paragraph is written in the way they are talking about direct network provider offers rather than 3rd party offers with carrier plans.
edit - after further examination of the link in the last sentence of the first paragraph and redirection to CPW I think the whole article is just badly written.

Actually I am a self employed person and the only connection I have to Vodafone is the 4 contracts on my account. I keep repeating the same thing as some people don't seem to able be to accept the simple truth that Vodafone is not stocking this phone. That might not suit you but it most definitely does not give you the right to insult me or call me a liar.

@jeffkinn as far as I'm aware nobody called you a liar. Only people I've heard lying were VF employees.
The truth is you keep repeating the same thing over and over again - "useless information"
Over the last dozen of posts no one asked if Vodafone is or is not going to stock HTC 10. Our posts were asking for a clarification and explanation why the members of the sales chat and phones team give customers incorrect/miselading information and also about new information on HTC 10 availability elsewhere - "useful information".
The ultimate result will be the cutomers interested in this handset will leave, sooner or later. There is no point in lying about the availability. Maybe there needs to be an internal communication regarding this to educate and stop employees telling porkies. It would be helpful to the customers and would reduce the reputational damage to Vodafone.

You don't think that being repeatedly 'accused' of being a Vodafone employee when I have made it abundantly clear that I'm not is not the same as being called a liar?
I'm also interested in your concept of what might be useful information given that everything I've said is concise, accurate and to the point.
Given the misinformation emanating from CS most of the recent posts have been made on the basis that perhaps Vodafone is going to sell the HTC 10 after all. How can making it clear that this is not going to happen be useless information? It might not be what you want to hear but that's unfortunate.
As to the failures of internal communication I couldn't agree more.
Finally, given the less than adult nature of this thread, I'll move on to other threads where people appreciate accurate information and the help that brings.

Thought I would have a crack at talking to an online advisor about this. Spoke to an upgrade chap called Callum. He says Vodafone will be ranging the HTC 10, and that his manager has confirmed this.
This suggests that either Vodafone have a dysfunctional communication system or that Vodafone are telling people who ask that the HTC 10 is coming, when it is in fact not.
I've been advised to wait till the release date. Which would mean if I'm having my chain yanked here, I would miss out on the HTC discount for pre-orders.
Not sure what to do now *ponders*
Perhaps a Vodafone rep would like to comment on the reason for the conflicting messages from their colleagues please?
Thanks

Yes I read that...but my point wasnt " Why you no sell HTC 10 Vodafone!!!111" more a case of " Why is your process for deseminating critical information to your upgrade team not fit for purpose Vodafone?"
Carly's post does not give any context to the situation, it just directs interested parties to a very brief Vodafone post. She says shes right....other people are told different things by other Vodafone employee's. Who are we supposed to believe has the right information?
Thanks
