HTC 10 on Vodafone

So, exciting news about the HTC 10 yesterday.
The leaks left me doubting if the device was good enough, but initial reviews suggest it might have got it right.

In the meantime TechRadar suggests VF are sitting on the fence about whether to stock it.

I'm sure a helpful VF member of staff will point us to the pointless "Coming Soon" page. Thanks for that.

Meantime here in the real world who would like VF to stock the HTC 10?
Is it incredible or even possible that VF are considering to NOT run with it?

@Blue305 entirely on a credit card and then you can transfer it to a zero percent one. 🙂

@bizarre_adz not forgetting the VF SIM only deals are only 12months long.

My decision was based on the flexibility plus using the Galaxy S7 (NOT edge variant) 2gb package as a guide:

£40 x 24 months = £960 + £49 upfront = £1009

The alternative SIM 2gb / HTC direct gig is (ignoring 12months piece):
£17 x 24 months = £408 + £513 upfront = £921

I'm not a fan of CPW plus I can still utilise the VEA scheme with direct VF SIM only deal to make the numbers a little smaller. A close call I agree. 🙂

I think the way to go forward may be to wait a bit longer for the rush to subside.  Phone deals will get cheaper I am sure once the phone is not the newest thing around.  So my guess is that unless you are desperate for a new phone, hold on, prices will start to drop a bit I am sure.  I'm going to hold on a bit longer although my 2 year old HTC One S is starting to feel very old now!

Golds are confirmed for tomorrow with CPW but grey and silver are both on the 18th. As I'm after the grey version mine is due in store on the 18th and CPW said they'd call me to let me know (and to call in if I hadn't heard anything). Guess it's just a wait and see for me now. I'm assuming if you've bought direct then you'll get yours before I do. Interesting note: the case was due for shipping on 15th may but was shipped today. Maybe the phones will be out sooner too. Worst case they got delayed at sea and that's why the delivery date was bumped back a bit.

Update on CPW website..... All three colour options are now showing 13th May as a delivery date. No longer gold on 6th and others on 18th. Do I get mine early? I hope so!

@burso83, I assume that you have your HTC 10 by now, does the Spigen Rugged Armor fit well and do you still get a good signal as many cases have depleted my signal quite a bit in the past :smileysurprised:

@IWonder sorry for the delaym mate, been without internet on my home PC for a few days.

Hope you have received yours by now, The rugged armor fits perfectly, I will most likely wear it for the first year or less to protect the phone. Although it is a beutiful phone and it's shame for it to be in a case. I totally love it. In comparison to my old M8 it's just miles better in every aspect. The screen is amazing and barelo no fingerprints are left behind, Scanner works a treat, cmara launches quickly with the double swipe down and take great pictures. I we got a couple of tiny cons: The volume rocker is almost identically loose with my M8, which takes a tiny bit away from the premuim feel. The quick access in notification bar (swipe down with 2 fingers), the options cannot be customised nor re-arranged in terms of order. The UI tuner cannot be unlocked either. considering there are default options like Flashlight and Calculator (which is useless) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a future update and unlock of this.
