Hello,
My father gave me a Smart Ultra 6.
I tried using my vodafone sim in it, and it asks for a PUK code and says '0 attempts'. I called Vodafone customer service who gave me 2 PUK codes, neither work. It seems 0 atempts means 0 attempts left.
My sim works on my old phone.
I've been to a store, they didn't have a clue what to do. They actually told me to google it. After clarifying that wasn't much help, they only tried a sim-swap to no avail.
It seems the phone is the problem. I suspect my father used up the code attempts, but I thought that would lock the SIM not the phone altogether.
How can this be resolved? My current phone is barely usable. If I have to wait or purchase another phone I'm leaving Vodafone as I do not enjoy their service at all.
Thank you

Hi
For a phone counter to be reset it will need to be sent off by a Vodafone High street Store.
This is typically because an unlocking code has been entered too many times so it accepts any networks sim card.
If a Puk Code is entered too many times then a new sim is normally needed.
