Hi nicksjoberg,

You can certainly take it into store, they'll be able to arrange the repair for you.

Thanks,

Matt B

I will take this one into the shop to go for repair tomorrow, I assume this will be done at no cost. I have ordered a new VSS to set up whilst the the current one is off for repair. Once the repaired one has returned then I will use it at different address (also with a HH5). So do I need to do anything other than follow the instructions in the box once the new VSS arrives please?

Hi nicksjoberg,

There shouldn’t be any cost for repairing your Sure Signal.

You don’t need to do anything other than follow the instructions in the box to register the new one.

We do have some help videos, including how to set one up.

You can see them here.

When you get the repaired one back, don’t forget to update the postcode details on your admin dashboard.

Thanks,

Andy

Can I add two VSS at the same address ? I have a Cat 5 system which runs out to my garage, so could I have one VSS in my office and another in the garage ? Obviously both registered at the same address.

Hi nicksjoberg,

There isn’t a problem registering two Sure Signals at the same address.

If your upload speed can support both units running at the same time, they’ll work fine.

Thanks,

Andy

Is 10 mbps likely to be sufficient?

Hi nicksjoberg,

With a 10Mbps upload speed, both Sure Signals will work fine.

New VSS arrived so will see if it works this evening! - fingers crossed

New one working ! Hurrah! thank you everyone ..... proves one thing the old one was bust! so lets see if that works when it comes back.... Im sure it will. Shame it has taken so long however perhaps the advice to send back to be repaired should have come a little quicker, especially as I only have a working one as I paid for a new one !!!!

So the old one sent back for repair has been replaced with a new one! My advice to anyone following this string who is having similar problems, just return it to vodaphone for them to repair as doing this 6 months ago would have saved me a huge amount of time and effort (assuming the new one provided works, as haven't plugged it in yet!)
