How can I register on My Vodafone?

I am trying to register on My Vodafone web page.

However, my active vodafone number is not accepted and I am getting "Please enter a valid Vodafone number." 

Then I tried calling from mobile by entering *#100# as was adviced on "Here is how to find your vodafone number" tooltip but I am getting "Unbekannter Code" message so how do I register?

If you're getting a message in German, are you on Vodafone UK?   If not, you'd need to speak to your home network and, if you're trying to do the setup on Vodafone UK, that could be the problem.
