How long will it take to do a sim swap

Hello there everyone just wanting to know how long will it be to port my old pay as you go number over to my new sim

If it is just a sim swap, anywhere between 5 mins to 24hours (usually doesn't take that long though). If you are porting, it usually takes place th enext working day between 11am and 4pm.

but what will happen to my old number is there any way to move it to the old sim?

No problem at all

The old number will be lost when it is replaced by the number you are porting and your old sim will become inactive.

If you wanted a spare sim on pay as you go, you are probably better off to just get a new one.

Hi, how are you planning on doing the swap?

If you can get to a vodafone store they will put your old number on your new sim while you wait, its normally complete in 15 to 20 minutes.

hi, just to clarify, you have a PAYG number that you want to put onto a new sim (new size for new phone?) and then keep using that number in your new phone?
