I've been a Vodafone customer for nearly 20 years. My bill is going to double as I'm out of contract. I've worked out I can get a much better offer so want to leave. I've spent over 3 hours on hold today to get a PAC code and to notify and also used chat but can't speak to anyone!!!
When I rang Vodafone the best I could get for a Samsung A3 1GB etc. Was £22 per month which works out as £528 for 24 months. I can buy the phone for £220 and get a similar SIM only for £5pm. If I could have got a better deal then I might have stayed out if loyalty but I've not been able to discuss it with you.
I don't know what has happened today but you won't talk to me. I've selected the option for a ring back and both times you've cut me off!! I've been cut off 4 times today.

I find the best time is to ring on a Weekday as early as possible @JJordan
Customer Services on 191 will either give you a PAC Code straightaway or by 2 hours by text.
Try choosing the Thinking of a leaving option and you’ll be put through to Retention’s where they’d see if they can offer something to entice you to stay with Vodafone - worth asking.
If you do leave and use your PAC Code by giving it to an alternative Uk Network within the required 30 days it remains live then that will automatically close your Vodafone Contract.
Vodafone will send you the final bill in approximately 2 weeks time and take the final payment.
Please do not cancel your direct debit until all bills / refunds if relevant are paid and you have received a £0 bill and a Sorry your Leaving Letter. Keep these for peace of mind.
