I'm struggling with use my own music tracks as a ringtone

I'm struggling with changing a ringtone to my Vodafone Smart fine to use my own Music and how can I move my download s music to onerther folders

Hi,

I either use Zedge for ringtones. 

And or use the Android File Transfer software to move music etc from my MacBook Air to my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge into the music files or tones file.
