Hi Claus,
I'm sorry to hear you've had your dongle stolen.
Unfortunately, the IMEI isn't stored on your computer as it's hardware specific to the dongle and not the software. If you have any paperwork such as a pay monthly agreement or a Pay as You Go receipt, the IMEI may be on here. Alternatively, if you have a pay monthly plan and got the dongle from us directly, we may have a record of it on your account. If you'd like to have us check for you, simply follow the instructions I've sent via Private Message here.
I would urge that if you've not reported the dongle as stolen yet, you get in touch with Customer Services ASAP to get the line blocked and the IMEI blacklisted.
Cheers, Ben

Hi
The IMEI is only displayed in the VMB software if the dongle is plugged in and the software open. You can use many different dongles with the VMB software so it only displays the IMEI of the currently inserted device.
You can find the IMEI out (without havign anything inserted) by:
- Click start, click run (or search programs and files)
- type %appdata% then press return
- Open the roaming folder (this isn't present on XP so skip this step if that's what you're using)
- Open the Vodafone folder
- Open the Vodafoen Mobile Broadband folder
- Open the Log folder
- Sort the files by date modified
- Open the most recent file that ends in MobileBroadband.txt e.g.L20121220-102339-7352-MobileBroadband.txt
- Press ctrl F
- Search for IMEI
I think this file holds the IMEIs of all dongles ever used with yoru system, so if you've only ever used one dongle with your computer then the IMEI you find will be that of your dongle.
If you've used more than one dongle you may have to make a note of all the IMEIs in the file menitoned above then google them to find out the right one for your device.
The first 6 or eight digits of the IMEI is that TAC which is what identifies the make/model of your device, so it would probably be best to google the first six/eight digits of the IMEIs you find. When you find the TAC that corresponds with your device, give the full IMEI of this device to Vodafone and they should be able to tkae things from there.
