Inputting NUC code

I recently got an NUC code from Vodafone in order to unlock my Samsung Galaxy S5. However there were no instructions detailing how to input the code. I have put a new sim in the phone but no prompts appear...

So how do I input an NUC code in a Samsung Galaxy S5?

Hi @nixd47

The following link from support should help with your question.

How do I unlock my phone?

You need to put a non Vodafone SIM in the phone before you use the code.

Hi. It should be as simple as putting a sim in from another network then there should be screen asking for the unlock code.

When you switch the phone on with the new sim in is the phone showing no service? Is it unlocked already ? Where did you get the phone?

I tried putting a three sim card in and the phone starts up as usual, and comes up with a '3' in the right hand corner. I bought it from carphone warehouse on the Vodafone network, which is why I assumed it would be locked, but perhaps this means it is already unlocked.

Hi. Carphone warehouse phones are normally supplied unlocked, if it's showing 3 then that looks like it's unlocked.
