so have had the phone a few months

recently ran out of space on teh 5gb phone so i have moved apps & pics to SD card which has 12gb space left.

now the saying i am running out of space. it wont even allow me to update apps that are on the SD card. this phone seems to be broken

do you think i need to do a factory reset?

Hi. 

Something isn't right as 12Gb is ample. 

Have you tried a soft reboot first by turning the phone off and on. 

If you do perform a factory reset then create a backup and then remove your sd card before performing the factory reset.

i sort of solved it i think. i uninstalled facebook (300mb) and reinstalled it. that allowed it to be moved to SD card. what i have noticed is that when an app on SD card has an update it goes to phone storage rather than stay on SD card.
