huawei p9 help

Two things I'm having issues with. But I think it's more down to it being huawei being silly.
1. Any know how I can sync my Facebook contacts with my phone contacts... ie so Facebook profile pictures are updated on my contacts.

2. Vodafone message + is some how linked to a number of my contacts (the other contact doesn't use it nor do I) when I'm sending messages it's sending via message + by default. Anyone know how to remove it? (I don't have message+ on my phone)

Hi there

1. You can't anymore.  Facebook have removed that functionality and your contacts will no longer display their Facebook profile picture.
2. I believe Message+ is integrated into the firmware.  You should be able to disable it through the message settings.  When you are in your message inbox, tap the three dots and go into the settings.  From there you are looking for an option that may be called Message+ or RCS or Rich Communications.  Disable that option.

@drey_p is correct on both counts, open the message app and settings and its the top option RCS chat service, toggle the switch to disable

Thanks for the screenshot @63johnw.  I have only had a brief play with the P9 and couldn't for the life of me remember exactly what the wording was!  :smileywink:

Yeah - they are pretty decent handsets.  The one I played with looked great and felt great to.  Huawei have come a long way over the past few years.
