Ipad - Extra charge on first bill

Hi there,

I have just received my first bill from you and was suprised to see that it hS a £14.88 service charge for the first month which I believe is on top of the line rental.

Checked the stats on the iPad as this is the option I have available as vodafone as not provided this as a service and my numbers are
Sent 43.2 MB
Rceived 377 MB

Any thoughts or ideas?

Forgot to mention it is the 1GB + wifi although I can't use the BT open zone wifi because of the poor vodafone process.

On your first bill you pay a month in advance (in your case £10) and then you also pay pro-rata from the day you connected to the day you bill cycle starts.

Mine was about £13 so similar.

Subsequent bills should just be £10, assuming you're paying by direct debit.

Contacted vodafone and they said the reason for the extra billing was because I was being sent text messages which as we know is not an IPAD function. Subsequently the reinbursed the charges:)

I also mentioned that I could not use half the service ie the BT Openzone and they once again reimbursed me for the limited service.
