last few days been having issues with my touchscreen
- random scrolling
- double key taps
- hit an icon and search iPhone appears
All very wierd appeared to happen after a bunch of apps got upgraded but cant be sure.
Anyway i went back to a previous restore which worked for a while but the problems came back, likewise with a complete wipe and download of latest IOs from App store still not better.
Feels like a digitiser issues but just wondered if anyone else has had issues? No drops, no water, no misuse, removed screen protector and case.
Just wondering what my chances are at getting it replaced with VF or Apple....zero to non i expect originally the phone was one of those 'returns'

I would suggest restoring again but then set up the iPhone as a 'new device'. Then see if the issues disappear as the glitches may exist in your previous back ups, which your re introducing when you upload them back onto your iPhone.
If no use Please try a soft reset.
On the iPhone hold down the Sleep/Wake Button and Home button together until the Apple Logo shows. Then On seeing this Apple Logo release both buttons ,and the iPhone will reset , which has been known to clear most glitches.
Other options are :
Settings -> General-> Reset -> Reset All Settings.
apply a 12 month warranty on iPhones so firstly check your warranty status via this official link https://getsupport.apple.com/ProductSelector.action ,and then if you have a local store make an appointment via https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/ ,and they'll run a diagnostic on the iPhone and if under warranty and it's a fault they'll typically swap it out for you.
If not under warranty look to https://www.apple.com/uk/support/iphone/repair/other/ for out of warranty costs or check any insurance cover by any separate taken out policy or via household contents cover or some Bank Accounts provide cover. Check Terms & Conditions and excess fees may apply.

If you have an store local go to them via an appointment to the Genius Bar. Https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/
They'll run a diagnostic on it and if found to be faulty they'll typically swap it out in store for you if under the 12 month warranty. If over 12 months their will be a charge for an out of warranty replacement if you chose that route.
No disrespect to Vodaphone but know their software and hardware and their customer service and customer support is in my opinion unsurpassed.
Vodaphone is another option and they'll send it away to their repair centres.
