Issues With K3715 Usb Stick On Windows 7

Hello

I have a K3715 USB stick which I use on a HP NC6320 Notebook loaded with Windows 7.

The problem I am experiencing is as follows.

The USB stick is picked up and I connect to the network with no problem. After about 5 minutes I suddenly get a message saying that there is no device connected. The time period for this message to appear is not always the same, it is sometimes much shorter.

If I then look at VMC it shows no device. If I look at the USB stick there is a little green light flashing.

If I remove the stick and put it back in the same USB port it sometimes gets picked up, on other occasions I need to change USB ports and then it will pick the stick up. The same problem however reoccurs.

Thinking it was my notebook I decided to test in another laptop, a different model HP also with Windows 7 installed. Exactly the same problem occured.

I have put a K3520 into my laptop with the current configuration and have had absolutely no problems. I stayed connected for hours and never got the same problem I have described above.

Can anyone help me resolve this?

Hi thehed and welcome to the eForum

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with this. I can understand how frustrating this must be for you.

With the tests you have performed you have confirmed that this is a problem with the device itself. This will need to be sent away so that it can be repaired. All you need to do is take a look at our Vodafone Repairs Thread for all of the information you'll need on how to get this fixed

Please let me know how you get on and if you have any more questions just give us a shout.

Thanks

Wayne
