Evening all
Purchased the new z5 bond edition and found it comes with no bond apps of any kind, being it is advertised with a string of things, does any one know how to get them.
I have tried the ex lounge via Sony and trying to get hold of someone on vodaphone is a joke as tried numerous occasions and no one available
I hear from another bond fan this has happened to him also
Any help most appreciated

This is very poor showing from vodaphone
Why was the content never put on the phone before selling?
We the customers have paid in good faith thinking we were getting the phone as advertised
Can we please sort this out by the end of the week

I concur, where is the Moneypenny blog? Ringtone? Cracking premiere of Spectre at Royal Albert Hall, watched the stream.

Update from Sony Experia lounge.
They have said that they have no control on the James bond campaign and IT IS vodaphone who needs to address the situation.

Thanks for the update. Wasn't Vodafone pointing the finger at Sony earlier in ths thread? In any event, it's nice that the content is back.

I have to agree with the above
I feel we have been taken in by a false advert by vodaphone.
I heard how poor vodaphone were, but this is bad beyond words.
I to will be in touch with the adverting agency on this matter

I would like to put on record my thanks to chazz D as it seems they are the only person to actually communicate with the customers on here

I have also filed a claim with ASA. It really shouldn't be this difficult. To correct the situation, simply provide a download link to the content. When O2 had the Bond phones in the past, the content came preloaded on the device's internal storage so you could access it at will. Live and learn Vodafone, marketing a device as a Made for Bond Edition is a daunting task that should not be taken lightly since I am sure the users posting on this thread do not represent the thousands of others who purchased this device expecting to find the content that was promised here:

Initially, Vodafone stated it was Sony who made the content available late and now Sony states it is Vodafone who controls the content. What a cluster.

Thanks for the info ChazzD, you have been of great assistance over this matter when the rest of Vodafone Customer Services have ignored or know nothing about the issue

Is this what we all expected from the advertising campaign - NO

 

Having purchased all the Bond Phones since the K800i from Casino Royale I am very disappointed in what Vodafone have provided.

No ringtones, only two wallpapers, minor video blog (which is not even about the movie), not even close to what has been previously provided by other networks

 

Like others I changed networks to get this phone and I feel very let down over the content provided - it certainly does not live up to the hype.

 

I dont suppose there is any change of Vodafone providing more?
